MAF Seal for Aftermarket Cold Air Intake CAI

The CAI MAF Seal is a critical performance component designed specifically for vehicles with aftermarket Cold Air Intake (CAI) systems. This seal is engineered to solve common issues where the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor fails to seat properly, leading to air leaks and engine performance problems.

Seal may be in either Red or Black, what ever we have in stock. However you have the option of preferring one or the other if we have both in stock.

  • Corrects Idle Issues: It can resolve irregular idling caused by fuel-air mixture deviations, often indicated by BMW-specific codes like 118001 and 21A02D.

Vehicle Fitment and Compatibility

This seal is highly versatile and fits any Hitachi MAF sensor that uses the bolt-in configuration shown in the product documentation. Key compatible patterns include:

  • BMW: Engines such as the B58, N54, and N55.

  • Volkswagen/Audi (VAG): Wide range of 2.0T FSI and TSI engines found in the GTI, Golf, Jetta, and GLI. It also fits the 3.0L V6 TDi found in the A6, A7, Q5, Q7, and Touareg.

  • GM/Chevrolet: Performance engines including the LS3 and LS7 found in the Corvette Z06, Camaro ZL1, CTS-V, and Silverado.

  • Nissan/Infiniti: Common models such as the 350Z, G35, Altima, Maxima, and QX60.

  • Honda/Acura: Fits various models including the Accord, MDX, RDX, and TL.

The contact patch may be slightly different, However, the only thing that matters is the hole locations and the size of the center hole.
