- As this tool is used for multiple applications, it comes with two attachments.
- A M10 x 1.5 x 100mm (4″) SS bolt and M10 nut and washer as shown in the photos and diagram below.
- It also comes with a threaded handle puller attachment for pulling Air Cooled Oil Pumps and other VW, Audi and Porsche applications.
- Thread the M10 SS threaded bar First, then attach the tool. Grease the washer. Then install the large washer first, then the small washer,. Finally grease the threads and nut and install.
- You must grease the threads and washers before each use. Additionally, clean the threads after you are finished with removal and installation.
- * Standard bearing grease will work just fine.
- For early 020 transmissions with 90mm flanges, you may need to insert a short bolt with a thick washer in two of the flange bolt threads, 180º apart.
- This will ensure that the puller does not slip off the edge.
- Requires spring clip pliers to remove flange, 45º or 90º spring clip pliers work better if you have them.
